Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality one-on-one and small group instruction to students. Follow guidelines and current tutoring philosophy including the pursuit of CRLA certification. Communicate with receptionists and lead tutors and department coordinator. Conduct small workshops. Provide clerical assistance to lead tutors. Assist greeter with daily duties including close attention to accurate data collection.


Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.


Tutors must be sensitive to the needs of students at all levels. They will need to be able to coordinate efforts with other tutors/staff members and have an excellent work ethic.

Position Status Part Time

Flexible hours

Minimum Starting Rate $13.00 an hour with an associate’s degree, $16.00 an hour with a bachelor's degree and $17.00 an hours with a master's degree
